A dim and dark parking lot which is for the employees of the newspaper. Only a few streetlights lit up the place.

Michael hurried across the parking lot heading for his car. The dark grey clouds above him showed him that the pouring rain would probably continue for a couple of hours. He fumbled with the lock to his car, a run down Saab 900, which he had gotten from his parents as a birthday gift four years ago. He swore silently as he dropped the keys on the ground.

When he sood up, there was a tall man in a trenchcoat, fedora, and large sunglasses staring at him ten feet away. There was something distinctly familiar about the man, but the sunglasses and weather made it difficult to obtain any impression beyond a strong jawline and aristocratic nose.
"Michael Sakai?"

He was a bit startled when the man spoke to him, and turned towards the stranger.
"Yes, that's my name. Who are you?"

"You can call me Harry, but who I am is irrelavent. I have been asked to inform you that if you hope to advance your name and career, it would be most profitable to keep your ears open concerning the local S.T.A.R. Labs division. Power and corruption have always gone hand in hand..." His mouth partially curved up into a smirk.

"Alright, Harry. I'll bite. I just have one question: Asked by who?"
The S.T.A.R. Labs division was closed to most reporters, so how would a rookie reporter find a way in.

"Someone in power who would like to see this city cleaned up, but cannot risk being besmirched by a corrupt press. Mr. Sakai, you were the only name we could consider because you're an outsider and working in a paper that could not possibly be on the payroll of Carmine Falcone."
He started backing away, "Keep your ears and eyes open. Their regional manager has dug himelf a deep grave with his past sins..."

Michael nodded.
"Wait, how am I to get in touch with you? And how do I know I can trust you?" he said as the man started to back away.

"Haven't you ever seen a conspiracy thriller? Don't worry about contacting me, youll be seeing me soon enough." And he walked off into the pouring rain.

Michael looked after the man as he left, and didn't turn to open the car door until he was sure that he was alone again. When he was in the car he put the key in the ignition and turned the key. He slowly pulled out of the parking lot, heading towards the outskirts of Gotham City.
