Yea, a date and speed at which time moves would be good, so that we can keep track of how long things have been going on for.

I think the time period would be around today, but since we're talking about a fictional world where men fly, I don't think a specific year will be helpful. Also, many specifics haven't really been defined about the exact details, so there's still a LOT of leeway in inventing our version of the DC universe as we go along.
Time passes as quickly as it needs to. True, some scenes will take longer than others, but I shall take the duty of keeping track of continuity upon myself.

Around today is helpful enough, one would probably not drive around a 1985 Impala, at least not a guy Michael's age...

Yea, I don't a specific time wouldn't work either, since Gotham City has a kind of timeless nature, it's very futuristic, but somehow quite '50s aswell. But I figured we could just count the years in terms of creation of the game. So everything that's currently happening would be Year 1.

Gotham Underworld: Year 1.
I actually have a plot in my head, which is quite conveniently forming even though I haven't mentioned it to anyone yet.

Just about anywhere. Gimme an idea of what you're looking for and I can make a subboard.
